When you claim a treasure chest in ENLIGHTENMENT, you see numbers like “3,060 μCC” or “702,876 μCC” — but what does that actually mean? This guide explains the Cash Coin (CC) system, how rewards are calculated, and why the numbers look the way they do.

The Coin: Cash Coin (CC)

CC are the native coins of the Cash Coin Blockchain (CC-Chain). They are not tokens — they are the native currency of the chain, just like ETH on Ethereum or BTC on Bitcoin. KC (Keshe Coin by the Keshe Foundation) are similarly the native coins of the KC-Chain. ColorKnowledge are tokens on the CC-Chain, acquired by visiting countries (with level-dependent limits / CAPs).

As with all Ethereum-compatible blockchains, the smallest unit is wei. The system works like metric prefixes:

UnitWei ValueMeaning
1 CC10¹⁸1 full Cash Coin
1 mCC (milli)10¹⁵0.001 CC
1 μCC (micro)10¹²0.000001 CC
1 nCC (nano)10⁹0.000000001 CC
1 pCC (pico)10⁶0.000000000001 CC
1 fCC (femto)10³0.000000000000001 CC
1 aCC (atto)1The smallest unit

The game UI automatically picks the most readable unit. 3,060,000,000,000,000 wei shows as 3.060 mCC instead of a long string of zeros.

How Treasure Rewards Work

When a treasure chest is claimed, three things happen:

1. Base Chest Value

Each chest is spawned with a tiny base value — typically 1 to 18 aCC (attoCC). This is almost nothing on its own.

2. Level Multiplier

The base value is multiplied by a level-dependent factor:

LevelMultiplier10 aCC base → result≈ Euro*
L1×110 aCC (dust)≈ €0
L2×1,00010 fCC (dust)≈ €0
L3×4×10¹¹4 μCC€0.004
L4×4×10¹²40 μCC€0.04
L5×4×10¹³400 μCC€0.40
L6×8×10¹³800 μCC€0.80
L7×1.6×10¹⁴1.6 mCC€1.60
L8×3.2×10¹⁴3.2 mCC€3.20
L9×6.4×10¹⁴6.4 mCC€6.40

*At 1 CC = €1,000 and before Gravity split

3. Plasma Share Split

The final amount is split between the player and the game treasury based on the player’s Gravity setting. The neutral point is 75.5% — at this value, ethos does not change. Above it, ethos decreases; below it, ethos increases. You can find this slider in the left sidebar:

Gravity / CC Player Share slider in the left sidebar

Worked Example

Level 3 player, base chest value = 10 aCC, Gravity = 75.5%:

  • 10 × 400,000,000,000 × 0.755 = 3,020,000,000,000 wei
  • = 3.020 μCC (microCC)
  • On-chain transaction transfers exactly this amount to the player’s wallet

Level 5 player, base chest value = 18 aCC, Gravity = 75.5%:

  • 18 × 40,000,000,000,000 × 0.755 = 543,600,000,000,000 wei
  • = 543.6 μCC ≈ 0.000544 CC

Reading the UI

When you see “Bargeld: 3060000000000” in a transaction, that’s the raw wei value. The game formats it automatically:

  • 3,060,000,000,000,000 wei → 3.060 mCC
  • 702,876,000,000,000,000 wei → 702.876 mCC = 0.702876 CC
  • 3,060,000,000,000 wei → 3.060 μCC

The “Saldo nach Forderung” (balance after claim) shows your Secret Roles / Plasma — these points exist only in the game database, not on the blockchain. Cash Coins are always transferred on-chain and confirmed with a transaction hash.

Key Takeaways

  • CC are native coins of the Cash Coin Blockchain (CC-Chain), not tokens
  • KC (Keshe Coin) are native coins of the KC-Chain, not tokens
  • ColorKnowledge are tokens on the CC-Chain, acquired by visiting countries (with level-dependent limits / CAPs)
  • aCC (attoCC) is the base unit — 10⁻¹⁸ of a full CC
  • μCC (microCC) is what most L3–L5 players see from treasure chests
  • mCC (milliCC) is what L6–L9 players typically see
  • Higher levels get exponentially more CC per chest
  • The Gravity setting controls how much goes to you vs. the treasury (51%–100%) — at 75.5%, ethos stays unchanged
  • All CC transfers are on-chain — you can verify them in the CC Explorer
