The System Store Is Open — Plus Happy Hour, Ticker Ads, and Sellable Shop Banners
Today’s release turns the in-game marketplace into a real economy: a permanent official store, a rotating daily discount hour that travels through every timezone, paid ticker advertising for shop owners, and banners you can buy and sell.
🏪 The System Store — always open, on every server
Every region now has an official System Store. It shows up in the shop list like any other shop — just without a map pin — and it never runs out of stock.

Every item lands directly in your game inventory — diamonds and flashes increment your counters, fragment and CTTC pieces go into your collections, and ad credits wait in your inventory until you activate them.
⚡ Happy Hour — a discount that follows the sun
Once a day there’s a Happy Hour: one full hour with 25% off everything in the System Store.
Here’s the twist — it rotates. Today’s window starts at a fixed UTC hour, tomorrow’s starts one hour later, then the next, and so on. After 24 days it wraps back to 00:00 UTC. Every timezone gets its turn — nobody is permanently locked out because the sale always happens while they sleep.
How to spot it:
- Top-left of the map, next to the Cup countdown, you always see
⚡ HH in H:MMh— the time until the next window. - When the hour begins, that turns into a blinking countdown plus a flashing “Happy Hour −25%” label.
- System Store prices show the discount automatically — no codes, no checkout tricks.
Shop owners: join in!
Happy Hour isn’t just for us. In your shop settings you’ll find a new checkbox: “Join Happy Hour”. Enable it and your digital products automatically sell at 25% off during the window — the discount comes out of your revenue, and physical/hardware items are never affected.
Why would you? Participating shops get a blinking ⚡ next to their name in the shop list while the hour is live — free visibility exactly when everyone’s hunting for deals. If you already run a bigger promo, it wins: discounts never stack, you always give max(your promo, 25%).
📣 Ticker ads — paid, fair, and earned
The live ticker at the bottom is now a real ad slot. Shop owners can promote a product — it renders twice over 10 minutes.
Three ways to get an ad:
- Free: every shop with an active subscription gets one free ad per 30 days — claim it in your Shop dashboard.
- Lucky: ad credits are now a rare drop inside PMUs (~2%, shop owners only).
- Paid: buy as many as you want in the System Store for 0.01 CC each.
To activate one: Shop dashboard → Ticker Advertisement → pick a product → done. If that product is running a promo, the ticker says so.
🎨 Sellable shop banners
Designers, this one’s for you: you can now sell banner artwork as a product with the item type “Shop Banner”. Upload the design as the product image — 1200×300 px, PNG/JPEG/WebP, max 3 MiB, subject centered.
The buyer gets the design as a reusable inventory item and applies it to their shop with one click in the dashboard — no downloads, no re-uploading. One purchase, usable forever, even across multiple shops they own.
🔧 Fixes
- SKU editing works now — changing a product’s article number used to silently revert after saving. It sticks.
- Asset images in shops — shop logos/banners pointing at packaged assets (like
./assets/…) no longer get mangled into broken upload URLs.
