1. Stock Restored on Cancel FIX

The problem: When a seller cancelled a paid order, the stock for physical items was not incremented back. Items that were reserved at checkout stayed decremented forever — the seller lost inventory even though the order was cancelled.

The fix: When an order is cancelled, the system now automatically re-increments stock for all non-digital items. Digital items are skipped (they don’t use stock). If a product was deleted in the meantime, it’s silently skipped.

📦What this means for sellers

When you cancel an order, your physical product stock is automatically restored. No more lost inventory.

2. Multi-Channel Delivery Area Check FIX

The problem: At checkout, the system only checked the delivery area of the first shop in the cart. If your cart had items from multiple shops, the delivery area of the other shops was never validated.

The fix: Checkout now checks the delivery area of every shop in your cart that has physical items. If any shop doesn’t deliver to your country, the checkout is blocked with a clear error message.

🌍What this means for buyers

You’ll now get a clear error if any shop in your cart doesn’t deliver to your country — before you pay, not after.

3. Digital Delivery Quantity Fixed FIX

The problem: When you bought 5 fragment pieces, only 1 was delivered. The digital delivery code read the JSON field "qty", but the checkout wrote "quantity". The mismatch meant the quantity was always 0, and a fallback delivered exactly 1 piece — regardless of how many you paid for.

The fix: A unified digital delivery system now correctly reads the ordered quantity and delivers the right number of pieces. Fragment pieces and CTTC pieces are now delivered in the exact quantity you paid for.

🧩What this means for buyers

If you buy 10 fragment pieces, you get 10 fragment pieces. Simple as that.

4. Escrow Reminder Before Auto-Release NEW

Escrow payouts auto-release to the seller after 7 days if the buyer doesn’t act. Until now, the buyer had no reminder — they might not know the deadline was approaching.

What’s new: A background job now runs every hour and sends an SSE notification + email to buyers whose escrow is 5+ days old (2 days before auto-release). The reminder says:

“You have an order that was paid 5 days ago. If you have received your goods, please confirm receipt. If there is a problem, open a dispute. If you do nothing, the escrow will be automatically released to the seller in 2 days.”

Each order is only reminded once (tracked by a timestamp marker).

⏰What this means for buyers

You’ll get a reminder 2 days before the auto-release deadline, so you have time to confirm receipt or open a dispute.

5. Shipping Costs NEW

Shops can now charge for shipping. The new shipping rate system supports:

  • A worldwide default rate
  • Per-country overrides (e.g. a different rate for Germany vs. worldwide)

At checkout, the system looks up each shop’s shipping rate for the buyer’s home country, falling back to the worldwide default. If no rate is found, shipping is free.

Sellers can manage their shipping rates in the shop owner dashboard — set a worldwide default, add country-specific overrides, or delete rates.

The shipping cost is automatically added to the order total at checkout.

🚚What this means for sellers

You can now set shipping costs per country. For example: 5 EUR worldwide, but 2 EUR within Germany.

6. Unified Multi-Currency Checkout NEW

The problem: If your cart had both CC and KC items, you had to do two separate checkouts — one for each currency.

What’s new: The new unified checkout processes all currencies at once. It creates one order per currency and returns them all in a single response. The frontend can now show two payment QR codes side by side — one for CC, one for KC.

1️⃣CC Payment

5.000 CC → scan QR code with your wallet → pay on the CC chain

2️⃣KC Payment

1.000 KC → scan QR code with your wallet → pay on the KC chain

The existing single-currency checkout still works as before.

🛒What this means for buyers

One click to checkout your entire cart, even if it has mixed CC and KC items. Two QR codes, two payments, done.

7. PDF Invoices NEW

Buyers and sellers can now download a PDF invoice for any paid order.

How to get it: In your order history, click the Download Invoice button next to any paid order.

The invoice includes:

  • Order reference, date, and status
  • Seller shop name + tax number
  • Buyer name + delivery address
  • Line items with SKU, name, quantity, unit price, and subtotal
  • Shipping cost
  • VAT breakout (if the shop has VAT enabled)
  • Total amount in wei + EUR equivalent

The PDF is generated with a hand-rolled PDF writer (no external dependency) using Helvetica font. Both the buyer and the shop owner can download the invoice.

📄What this means for everyone

Professional PDF invoices for your records, tax filings, or expense reports. No more manual invoicing.

8. VAT Handling NEW

Shops can now configure VAT (Value Added Tax) settings:

  • VAT rate: a percentage (0-100%, e.g. 20% for standard EU VAT)
  • VAT-inclusive pricing: whether your displayed prices already include VAT

How it works:

  • If prices are VAT-inclusive: the displayed price includes VAT. The invoice breaks out the net amount and the VAT portion.
  • If prices are net (not inclusive): the displayed price is before VAT. VAT is added on top at checkout.
  • If the VAT rate is 0%: no VAT handling (default, for sellers without a tax number).

Requirement: To enable VAT, the seller must have a tax number set on their account.

Sellers can configure VAT settings in the shop owner dashboard under shop settings.

🧾What this means for sellers

If you’re a registered business with a tax number, you can now produce VAT-compliant invoices. Set your VAT rate and mark prices as inclusive or exclusive.

Deployment

Version V3n is now live on MAAS (staging). After testing, it will be rolled out to all regions (US, IN, EU2, SG).
