Golden Ambassadors & Admin Hub

As of August 11, 2026, ENLIGHTENMENT introduces a tiered Ambassador system and a consolidated Admin Hub in the sidebar. These changes improve identity verification, ECO ID vouching, and admin access for system operators.

Golden Ambassador Tier

Ambassadors are now divided into two tiers:

⭐ Golden Ambassadors

Golden Ambassadors are appointed by system administrators. They have enhanced verification privileges:

  • Can verify any player — regardless of country or level
  • Are the only ambassadors who can vouch for ECO ID certificates
  • Have access to the ECO ID “Vouch for a Player” feature

🗳️ Elected Ambassadors

Elected Ambassadors are chosen by the community through the Trust Points system (as before). Their verification powers are restricted:

  • Can only verify players in their same country
  • Can only verify players at their same level or lower
  • Cannot vouch for ECO ID certificates

ECO ID Vouching Restricted

Previously, any ambassador could vouch for a player’s ECO ID certificate. Now, only Golden Ambassadors can perform ECO ID vouching. This ensures that cryptographic identity attestation is handled by trusted, admin-appointed ambassadors.

If you are an Elected Ambassador, the “Vouch for a Player” section in the ECO ID panel will no longer be visible. Only Golden Ambassadors see this option.

Admin Hub

All admin functions are now consolidated into a single Admin button on the sidebar (look for the ⭐ icon). Clicking it opens an overlay with links to:

  • Wiki Admin — manage wiki pages (for wiki admins)
  • Blog Admin — manage blog posts (for blog admins)
  • Audio Admin — manage audio content (for audio admins)
  • Golden Ambassadors — appoint & revoke golden ambassadors (for system admins)

Each link is only visible to users with the corresponding admin role. If you don’t see the Admin button, you don’t have any admin privileges.

Summary

  • Golden Ambassadors — admin-appointed, can verify anyone, can vouch for ECO IDs
  • Elected Ambassadors — community-elected, restricted to same country/level, no ECO ID vouching
  • Admin Hub — single sidebar button replaces individual admin buttons
  • ECO ID vouching — restricted to Golden Ambassadors only
