Flash & Diamonds — Power-Ups Explained
Two special power-up items help you progress faster: Flash (⚡) resets your collection cooldown, and Diamond (💎) activates a 24-hour remote minting window. Both are earned automatically as you play — no purchase required.
Flash — Instant Cooldown Reset
Flash instantly resets your item collection cooldown to zero, so you can collect another treasure, energy drink, or book without waiting.
- Without a country: resets the 120-second cooldown to 0
- With a country: instantly makes you eligible for color token minting — no more waiting for the eligibility timer
- A ⚡ icon appears next to the “Eligible In” timer when you have flash items and are waiting
- Use from the inventory or the sidebar cooldown bar
Diamond — 24h Remote Minting
Diamond activates a 24-hour power-up window. During this time, you can remotely mint color tokens for countries where you haven’t reached the cap yet — no travel required.
- Activates a 24-hour Diamond Mode
- A countdown badge appears in your stats panel
- The → button in your inventory jumps to countries where the cap isn’t reached
- Mint one color token per country remotely during the active window
- Respects your level-based token cap — can’t exceed it
How to Earn Them
Both Flash and Diamonds are awarded automatically based on your PMU claims (Plasma Multiplier Units). Every 3rd PMU claim gives you a Flash, and every 10th PMU claim gives you a Diamond — completely free.

Collect PMUs — PMU rewards appear as collectible items on the map. Claim them as you travel.

Every 3rd claim — On your 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th… PMU claim, you automatically receive one ⚡ Flash. Every 10th claim — On your 10th, 20th, 30th… PMU claim, you also receive one 💎 Diamond.

Use them wisely — Save Flash for when the cooldown is blocking you. Save Diamonds for when you have many countries left to mint.
Tips
- Flash is best used right after collecting an item — the 120-second cooldown is reset immediately, so you can grab the next treasure faster.
- Diamonds are most valuable at higher levels — your token cap per country is higher (L5 = 32 per country vs L1 = 2), so remote minting saves more travel time.
- Stack them — you can hold multiple Flash and Diamond items. Use them when the timing is right.
- Diamond Mode + Flash = maximum efficiency — activate Diamond Mode, then use Flash to reset cooldowns and collect items while remotely minting tokens at the same time.
