The Contact Exchange — Meet Real People Inside Enlightenment

Some conversations shouldn’t end when you log off. Today’s release adds a Contact Exchange to the game — an opt-in place where verified adults can find each other by interests, distance, and intent. Whether you’re looking for a friend in your city, a partner, or just someone interesting to talk to online — this is where you start.

You’ll find it in the right sidebar, under Social → Contacts.

✅ Verified adults only — by design

This is not an anonymous free-for-all. To even open the Contact Exchange you need:

Level 3 or higher — meaning at least two ambassador verifications, including a live video check with liveness detection
A verified birth date proving you’re 18 or older

Both are enforced on the server, not the client. Every single profile you see belongs to a real, verified adult — no bots, no fakes, no minors.

📍 Your location stays yours

Privacy was the first requirement, not an afterthought:

You set an approximate pin on the map yourself — there’s no GPS tracking, ever
The server rounds your pin to a ~1 km grid before it’s even stored
Other members never see your coordinates — only a rounded distance like “≈12 km” and the free-text label you choose (e.g. “Hua Hin”)
Photos are only visible to eligible members — they’re not public files like shop images
Your profile appears in our GDPR export, and deleting your profile removes everything — photos included

🎯 Looking for a meetup, or online only?

Your profile carries an explicit intent:

Intent	Meaning
Meet in person	You want real-world meetups
Online only	You want contact that stays in the game and DMs
Open to both	Either works for you

The filter works both ways: someone looking for in-person meetings will never see online-only profiles, and vice versa. No mismatched expectations.

📷 A picture says more than a thousand words

Profiles can carry up to 4 photos. Uploads are re-encoded server-side (metadata stripped), and the first photo becomes your thumbnail in search results.

🔍 Mutual visibility, mutual match

The Contact Exchange follows two simple fairness rules:

Only listed members can browse. If you want to search, your own profile must be active and visible. No lurkers.
Matching is two-way. Candidates must fit your filters (gender, age range, radius up to 2,000 km) — and you must fit theirs. An 18–25 search by someone outside your preferred age range never surfaces you.

Results show who’s currently online, their approximate distance, intent, photos — and a Message button that opens a direct message in the game (the existing blocklist applies).

💎 0.001 CC a month — first month free

Listing your profile costs 0.001 CC per month — about one euro, paid on-chain in Cash Coins. Your first month is free: activate your profile and the trial month is granted automatically.

Why charge at all? Three reasons:

It keeps the exchange serious — everyone listed has actual skin in the game
It naturally limits spam and stale profiles (expired listings disappear until renewed)
It supports the platform that hosts all of this
